Atte Langenberg

Hi, I'm Atte (25) and I'm staying at OtraCosa from october first until christmas. This time is easily spent here, as it is a great place to be. Huanchaco is definitely one of the best places I've been to in Peru (the people living here are very relaxed and friendly, the weather is great and there is of course the ocean with beautiful sunsets), the house is really beautiful and Peter and Janneke are really nice...I very much enjoy living here with them and Michael; it's great just to share a house with a couple of nice people and to hang out, eat, talk, cook and watch movies together. The work is pretty diverse right now as there are still a lot of things to be done before the restaurant is ready to be openend, but it is really rewarding to see the place change so fast and turn into something that was only a dream a couple of weeks ago. Although (in the first place) it is their dream I help realizing, it is a project I can really relate to and as they give you a lot of responsibility for the jobs you do and really listen to any suggestions you have to make, it pretty soon turns into your own project and your own pride. Great place, great atmposhere, great people and really rewarding work; I guess I'll have a pretty hard time leaving this place in december...
