This house is owned by Señora Wilma, who lives with her daughter and a dog in her nice house in El Boqueron, a nice, safe and clean neighborhood of Huanchaco. Wilma´s house is just one block from the beach. Wilma is a friendly old lady. She likes her quite life, so this is no place for you if you plan to go out and party a lot or take home new boy or girlfriends. This house is just a two minute walk to Mundo de Niños. It is just a five minute walk to Huanchaco´s centre. All public transport leaves from the end of her street.
The two storey house is very nice and one of the most comfortable options we have. Wilma is pretty well off by local standards. The volunteer accommodation has its own entrance, its own bathroom with hot water and its own kitchen (with minimal inventory, plus you pay for your own gas). If different volunteers live with Wilma at the same time, they share the bathroom. Wilma lives in the front part of the house and has her own facilities. In the front of the house is a nice shaded garden to share and chat. This is a very nice option for a couple or two friends that want some privacy, independence, good quality and quiet housing.
Señora Wilma is a very nice and tranquil lady, except when it comes to the water usage. She has a very complicated water system, and she is very worried about wasting the resource and will check on your usage habits.
She does 'look after' her guests, which some really like but others consider too much interference.
